Precare

To ensure the best possible results and reduce sensitivity:

• Arrive with clean skin, free from makeup if possible
• Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning for 48 hours beforehand
• Do not apply retinol, acids, or active skincare (e.g. AHAs/BHAs) for 12 hours before treatment
• Avoid extreme heat treatments (sauna, steam rooms) on the day of your appointment and directly afterwards
• Ensure the skin is not irritated, broken, or experiencing an active rosacea flare

Aftercare

Following treatment, the skin will go through a short healing phase:

• The treated area may appear red and slightly scabbed for up to 7 - 10 days
• Do not book this treatment close to an important event
• Avoid makeup for the first 48 hours where possible
• Cleanse the area gently using a patting motion—do not rub
• Avoid direct water pressure (e.g. strong shower spray) on the face
• Do not pick, scratch, or disturb the treated area
• Avoid heat treatments (sauna, steam, hot baths) for 48 hours
• Avoid exercise for 24 hours to reduce flushing
• Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF daily to protect the skin
• Keep skincare simple—avoid active ingredients (retinol, acids) for at least 5–7 days

What to Expect

• Immediate reduction in visible veins may be seen
• Mild redness and sensitivity is normal
• Small scabs may form as part of the natural healing process
• Full results improve over 1–3 weeks as the skin clears
